Safeguarding
‘Children are not possessions they are the most precious lives entrusted to our care.’
Here at St Michael’s, Safeguarding and Child Protection is everyone’s responsibility. All members of staff and volunteers undertake safeguarding training and must work within the guidelines of our Safeguarding Policies.
Those who have not been vetted by St Michaels and undertaken an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) will not have unsupervised access to our pupils.
We operate a sign in system and all visitors must wear a visitor’s badge. Any unidentified adult in the building will be subject to questioning/challenge.
